Individual sessions:
Some of the different areas that I can assist you with Occupational Therapy include:
Postpartum care planning: this includes putting routines into place to help you navigate the transition to becoming a mother.
Environment: sometimes simple adjustments to your home set-up can make caring for you and your baby easier.
Sensory processing, maternal distress & managing feelings of overwhelm.
Maternal mental health: maternal transition, maternal/infant attachment, self-compassion, enabling a mother to take part in creative or physical activities that are personally motivation, self care as well as support for the whole family.
Ergonomic education & bodyworks: postural factors, address overuse/exertion, repetition.
Psychosocial- relationships, family & finding a community.
